1. Service Overview

• InventGenie provides a cloud-based platform for patent drafting, innovation management, and R&D support.
• Features include project tracking, document management, compliance tools, analytics, and AI-powered automation.
• Optional consulting and professional services may be available under separate agreements.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
• Use of the platform must comply with all applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Data Ownership & Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of all data you submit to InventGenie.
• By using our services, you grant us a license to use your data solely to provide and improve our services.
• All platform software, content, and trademarks are owned by InventGenie or its licensors.
• Unauthorized use, copying, or reverse engineering is strictly prohibited.

4. Privacy & Security

• We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with all applicable privacy laws (see our Privacy Policy).
• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and never used for public AI model training.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Fees, Payments & Refunds

• Some services require payment of subscription fees, as stated on our pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• No refunds for partial months or unused services, except in cases of service disruption caused by us (at our discretion).

6. Service Modifications & Availability

• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at any time for maintenance, legal, or security reasons.
• We strive for 99.9% uptime, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party integrations or internet outages.

7. Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time through your dashboard.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful behavior.
• Upon termination, your access will be disabled. Export your data before canceling.

8. Support & Maintenance

• Email and in-app support is available for active subscribers. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
• Regular maintenance may result in temporary service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

• InventGenie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits.
• Our liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.

10. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website or communicated via email.
• Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.
